1. Who We Are

Schematica is a product of KingLabs AI, a subsidiary of Kingship Holdings Inc. We provide backend infrastructure as a service for developers and agencies. When you use Schematica, your data is processed and stored on infrastructure operated by KingLabs AI.

2. What We Collect

We collect the following information when you use Schematica:

• Account information: name, email address, and authentication credentials (managed via Clerk)
• Billing information: payment method details (processed by Stripe — we do not store card numbers)
• Project data: names, configurations, and metadata for projects you create on Schematica
• Usage data: project count, storage usage, API call volume, and subscription tier
• Database content: data you store in your Schematica project databases
• Log data: server logs, error reports, and access records

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provision and operate your backend projects
• To process payments and manage your subscription
• To enforce tier limits and usage-based billing
• To send transactional emails (provisioning, billing, alerts)
• To improve the platform and diagnose issues

We do not sell your data. We do not use your project data for advertising.

4. Where Your Data Lives

Your project databases, auth users, and storage files are hosted on Schematica infrastructure — servers operated by KingLabs AI via Hostinger. Data is not distributed across third-party cloud providers. Your data stays on our server.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Clerk — authentication and user management
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management
• Resend — transactional email delivery

Each of these services has their own privacy policy governing how they handle data passed to them.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for the duration of your subscription. When you cancel:

• Your account enters read-only mode at the end of your billing period
• Your data is held for 30 days after cancellation
• After 30 days, all project data, databases, auth users, and storage files are permanently deleted

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at build@schematica.dev. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Security

We use HTTPS for all data in transit. Databases are not publicly exposed — all Postgres connections are bound to localhost and accessible only through authenticated API layers. Passwords and secrets are never stored in plain text.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Significant changes will be communicated via email to active subscribers at least 14 days before they take effect.
