Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2026
1. Agreement
By creating an account on Schematica, you agree to these Terms of Service. Schematica is a product of KingLabs AI, a subsidiary of Kingship Holdings Inc. ("we", "us", "our"). If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.
2. What Schematica Is
Schematica is a managed backend-as-a-service platform. We run the infrastructure. You own your data. We provision isolated Postgres databases, API layers, auth, and storage for your projects on servers we operate. You are not renting raw VPS access — you are using a managed service.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for all activity under your account. Keep your credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old to use Schematica. You may not create accounts for the purpose of circumventing tier limits or accessing the service after termination.
4. Acceptable Use
You may use Schematica for lawful purposes only. You may not use Schematica to:
- Store or transmit illegal content
- Run workloads that violate applicable law or third-party rights
- Attempt to breach the isolation between tenant schemas or access other customers' data
- Conduct denial-of-service attacks or excessive load that degrades shared infrastructure
- Resell raw infrastructure access to third parties
Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension without refund.
5. Billing and Subscriptions
Schematica offers paid tiers billed monthly via Stripe. Your subscription begins after a 14-day free trial. You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. Prices are displayed at the time of purchase and may change with 30 days notice to active subscribers.
Refunds are not issued for partial billing periods. If you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current period.
6. Service Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We perform maintenance, which may cause brief downtime. We are not liable for losses caused by outages, data loss, or service interruptions. We are a small team building in public — we are honest about that.
7. Data Ownership
You own your data. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over content you store in your Schematica projects. We process your data solely to operate the service. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.
8. Data Backup
We perform best-effort backups of platform data. However, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of critical data. Do not rely solely on Schematica for data backup and recovery. We recommend exporting your data regularly.
9. Account Termination
You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon cancellation or termination:
- Your data is retained for 30 days
- After 30 days, all data is permanently deleted
- You may export your data during the 30-day window
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KingLabs AI and Kingship Holdings Inc. are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Schematica, including lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. We will notify active subscribers via email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
